The City of Bessemer’s Fall Clean-Up is coming up!
📅 Saturday, September 19, 2026
⏰ 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
📍 Compost Site on Osmose Road
Dumpsters will be available for residents to get rid of unwanted household items and debris. Department of Public Works employees will be on hand to check ID’s and make sure you are only dumping things that are allowed. This is an opportunity for city residents to get rid of old clothing, old furniture and other items that are just laying around.
⚠️ Please note: There are certain items that CANNOT be brought to the clean-up (especially hazardous materials). Be sure to check the flier of prohibited items before you arrive.
