Clean-Up Day
When: Saturday, May 31st 9:00 AM-1:00 PM
Where: Osmose Road at the Snow Dump Site
Items that will not be accepted: brush, car batteries, tires, all paints, petroleum products, heavy metals (i.e. mercury), building materials, roofing, pesticides, appliances, e-waste (TV’s & Computers), any hazardous materials, ammunition, or explosives.
- There is a limit of one pick-up load (or the equivalent) per property in the City of Bessemer.
- Please bring a picture ID with you, as this will be checked for proof of residency. Rental unit owners will be allowed one load per property. There is no charge for this service.
- Each resident utilizing this service will be responsible for unloading their own materials from their vehicle to dumpster. Curbside service will not be available.
