Calling All Photographers & Community Members!
The City of Bessemer’s Downtown Development Authority is looking for high-quality photos to feature on new highway banners that will showcase the beauty, history, and spirit of our community!
We’re looking for images that capture:
• Scenic views and landscapes
• Historic landmarks
• Community events and traditions
• Outdoor recreation and seasonal beauty
• Local pride and everyday life in Bessemer
If you have photos you’d like to share, we’d love to see them! Selected images may be featured on banners welcoming visitors and residents alike.
Please submit your photos by Monday, May 18, 2026, to mandy.lake@cityofbessemermi.gov. Be sure to include your name and a short description of the photo. Photos can also be dropped off at city hall.
